Hong Kong strives to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. Climate technology plays a crucial role in achieving ambitious climate commitments by reducing carbon emissions, ultimately driving progress towards interim and long-term targets.
In this roundtable discussion, corporate sustainability leaders, green tech ventures, and technology enablers will convene to discuss the challenges and pain points associated with meeting climate targets. The focus will be on delving deep into the latest advancements in climate technologies and their practical applications, with the aim of exploring opportunities for technological breakthroughs and green technology refinement to suit the market demand, and subsequently enhance commercial adoption of the latest green technologies.
Furthermore, considering that a large proportion of the carbon emissions for most corporations is generated from the value chain, the discussion will also address measures that allow effective tracking and reduction of carbon emissions along the value chain.
